Honeymoon continued

On our second day in Vegas we took our cool Chevy rental to Hoover Dam - I had never been! When we got there there was crazy slow traffic, news vans, etc. It wasn't until later we realized that it was the grand opening day for a new bridge that was built for locals to bypass the tourist traffic to the Dam. We opted out of the official tour, since it was over $30 per person, but walked around and took photos.

Honeymoon

Wes and I decided to honeymoon in Vegas....I love the heat, he loves the food...I love the shopping...he loves the Harley stores....its perfect for us both!

 We decided to go all out since its a cheap vacation and we got a beautiful Suite at Treasure Island...check it out!

A moment, then more day after photos

First I would like to take a moment to talk about how great my new family is...they are very loving and kind and warm. I particularly love my "new" grandparents...Mimi and Poppa. Mimi is spunky and funny and sweet as pie. Unfortunately she had a fall the other day and is currently not doing real great. Wes and I are driving to sacramento tomorrow with garrett and christine to see her and the family. I am really hoping to see Mimi wake up and get better. Please think good thoughts for her!

Now to continue with the rest of my "day after wedding" photos. We had a nice breakfast at the hotel with lots of family, then later in the day Aunt Denise hosted a great dinner at her house in Lafayette.
